Flood Screen in Orange, Graphite and White
Using the traditional process of screen printing, this piece continues the focus on color and how they interact. Rather than following the traditional format of screen separation and alignment, dye is free-poured and blended to create unique and one-of-kind prints that decorate the surface. Constrained within a frame, the pigment blends and new colors are created. This expressive surface is juxtaposed with the opposite; geometric wooden hinges made from single piece Douglass Fir accented in brass to create the frame.
