Mac Stool in Red

Using the traditional and somewhat dying craft of marquetry and inlay in an unexpected and minimal way. This group is inspired by Saunders' experience at Glasgow School of Art, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The pattern expands with a sense of direction in contrasting colors of dyed beech, sycamore and birch. The form is reduced to a simple block.
