Rhythm A Shelves

Using the traditional and somewhat dying craft of marquetry and inlay in an unexpected and minimal way. The pattern expand with a sense of direction in contrasting colors of dyed beech, sycamore and birch. The form is reduced to a simple block. Individual modules can be rearranged to create somewhat random patterns that play with the notion of asymmetry within a symmetrical design.
